Year 1 Music May 22nd

Can you tap your name like this: Mis-sus Ha-nna.  (my name has 4 taps)

You have met my cat Jake.

If Jake was to tap his name, how many taps would he do?

………………………………….

So we have looked at Loud/Quiet, and High/Low.

Next we look at Smooth and Jumpy.

Smooth.

Pretend you are a snake, and smoothly slide along without any bumps.

How can we make a sliding sound?

Maybe ask your grown up if you can experiment with some things from around the house…..BUT DO ASK FIRST!!!

Jumpy

What animals can you think of that move in a jumpy way?

Here is a song about a frog jumping. Can you jump like him?

Joey. Backing track:

Joey is a frog and he goes

Jump, jump, jump

Jump, jump, jump

Jump, jump, jump.

Joey is a frog and he goes

Jump, jump, jump

Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump.

When Joey was tadpole he went

Swim, swim, swim

Swim, swim, swim

Swim, swim, swim.

When Joey was tadpole he went

Swim, swim, swim

Swim, swim, swim, swim, swim.

When Joey was in frogspawm he went

Wobble, wobble, wobble

Wobble, wobble, wobble

Wobble, wobble, wobble

When Joey was in frogspawm he went

Wobble, wobble, wobble

Wobble, wobble, wobble, wobble, wobble

But, Joey is a frog and he goes

Jump, jump, jump

Jump, jump, jump

Jump, jump, jump.

Joey is a frog and he goes

Jump, jump, jump

Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump.
