Following our OFSTED inspection (February 2022) we are working on the following: 

• Ensuring our phonics programme (Little Wandle) is implemented across Reception and KS1, making sure all staff who are teaching it have had the relevant training. 
• Reviewing and updating our Behaviour policy to ensure it is relevant for our children. It will also be monitored to ensure all staff are implementing it. 
• We are continuing to work on our curriculum to ensure each subject area is fully sequenced across the school. 

In addition to this, we are going to improve our school library which we are hoping will take place during the summer holidays. We will then continue our reading focus and develop the love of reading across the school. 

We are also ensuring we continue to offer a wide range of opportunities to enhance pupils' wider development at St John's.
