KS1 El cuerpo – the body

¡Hola a todos!

¿Qué tal? Muy bien / regular/ fatal

I hope you had a lovely week off from school work. I enjoyed spending time with my children without having to do home schooling. We went for some nice walks, played a few games and even managed a trip to the beach. I am back at school this week so I might see some of you.

Get your body moving this morning with our Supermovers song:

This week, I would like you to try and learn the names of some body parts and to sing “Head shoulders knees and toes’ in Spanish! We have done this in class before. See if you can teach it to someone you live with!

Ca-be-za, hombres, piernas, pies,

Piernas, pies.

Ca-be-za, hombres, piernas, pies,

Piernas, pies.

Ojos, orejas, boca y nariz.

Ca-be-za, hombres, piernas, pies,

Piernas, pies.

Now learn a new song! Can you join in with the movements?

  • los pies – feet
  • las piernas – legs
  • las rodillas – knees
  • la cadera – hip
  • los hombros – shoulders
  • el cuello – neck
  • la lengua – tongue
  • los ojos – eyes
  • las manos – hands

Hope to see you soon!

¡Hasta pronto!

Señora Hayes x
