On Friday 23^rd February, a girls’ football team went to Kemsing to compete in their annual tournament. We had 4 matches to play in the group stages before finding out whether we had got through to the semi-finals.

We played Lady Boswell’s and won 1-0 with a goal from Mila (who apparently chinned the ball into the back of the net!). Then we played Shoreham and with goals from Freya and Amelie we went on to win 2-0. Next we came up against Kemsing Cobras and we on to win 3-0 with goals from Freya and Rachel. Our last game was against Ightham which was a close game ending in a 1-0 loss. This meant we went on to play Kemsing Pythons in the semi-final. This was a hard fought match and we went on to lose 2-0.

The girls played brilliantly and should be really proud of themselves.
