On Wednesday 2^nd November Amelie and Rachel from Year 4, along with the rest of the Otford United Wildcats U9s team, went to Cobham in Surrey to play none other than the Chelsea U9s team in a friendly football match! After 60 minutes in torrential rain and strong winds the final score was 4-1 to Chelsea, but given how much of the game the Wildcats dominated - with far fewer substitutes than the opposition! - and the number of near misses they had it should’ve been a much closer result! Needless to say their coaches and families are immensely proud of Rachel, Amelie and the rest of the team – and they’ve even been invited back by Chelsea to play another match in the new year!
