Class 4C is taught by Mrs Casewell, supported by teaching assistants Mrs Foss and Mrs Williams.
This year we begin to prepare the children for their transition to Upper Key Stage 2. We learn to become more independent, focussed, mature and responsible learners. We begin to take an active role in our own learning, developing our curiosity and questioning, whilst developing critical thinking skills.
A highlight in Year 4 is a residential trip in the Spring to Carroty Wood, where the children engage in team-building and other adventurous activities, whilst having a taster experience of being away from home, in preparation for residentials in Year 5 and 6.
Additionally, it is in Year 4 that children get their first sessions cycling and also they are invited to attend a Science Museum sleepover for the first time.
We look forward to watching your children grow both academically and emotionally as they learn through the year. We invite you to read our class blog to find out more about life in Class 4C.
