St John’s Primary School PTA
Welcome to St John’s and welcome to our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). This is one of many ways parents can get more involved in our thriving school community.
Who are we?
We are a group of parents who all give our time on a voluntary basis to organise and run fundraising (and hopefully fun!) activities for those in our school and local community. Our aim is to use the funds we raise to provide ‘extras’ for the school. Over the years we have raised many thousands of pounds, which have been spent on improving equipment and facilities in the school.
Who can join us?
All parents are automatically members of the Association and we do encourage everyone to come along and take part. It is an excellent way for parents to get together socially and strengthen support networks for parents with children at the school

As described by Ofsted, St John’s School pupils ” flourish both socially and academically.” We believe that having a successful Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a key role in ensuring that every child gets the very most from their time at school.
Donations of unwanted school uniform can be left at school – all money raised will go to the PTA.
